WiFi 4 Breakfast

Open the Wi-Fi sign-in

First join the hotel, airport, or café Wi-Fi. Then tap below to give its sign-in page another chance to appear.

Open Wi-Fi Login

The login depends on the public Wi-Fi network. If it does not appear, try the steps below.

Bookmark this view

Use your browser’s bookmark menu to save this page with #rescue at the end of its address. On Mac, press + D. On Windows or Linux, press Ctrl + D.

If you saved the setup page earlier, replace that bookmark with this view. This website cannot create or check a bookmark for you.

Saving and device instructions

One small step now. Rescue instructions you can find when the internet is missing.

After saving, open the icon or bookmark once while online. Then disconnect from the internet and check it reopens. Clearing browser data can remove the offline copy.

Another device or more help with saving

iPhone or iPad: add to Home Screen

  1. Open this page in Safari while online.
  2. Open the Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll down the menu.
  3. If shown, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.
  4. Open the new Wi-Fi Rescue icon once while online. Then try the offline check below.

Android: add to Home Screen

  1. Open this page in Chrome while online.
  2. Use Install Wi-Fi Rescue above if it appears. Otherwise open Chrome’s menu and look for Install and create shortcut, Install app, or Add to Home screen. Wording varies.
  3. Confirm the browser’s prompts. Open the new Wi-Fi Rescue icon once while online.
  4. Try the offline check below. If your browser offers no Home Screen option, use a bookmark instead.

Laptop: bookmark this rescue page

  1. Wait for Ready for offline use. Use your regular browser, not a private window.
  2. Open the view to bookmark, then add it from your browser’s bookmark menu. In Chrome, press + D on Mac, or Ctrl + D on Windows or Linux.
  3. Name it Wi-Fi Rescue and save it to your bookmarks bar or favourites for easy access.
  4. Try the offline check below in the same browser.

The bookmark opens the instructions stored in this browser. Saving a bookmark on one laptop does not prepare offline access on another.

Check it before you need it

  1. Open the saved icon or bookmark once while online and wait for offline setup to finish.
  2. Temporarily disconnect from the internet. On a phone, turn off cellular data too.
  3. Close and reopen Wi-Fi Rescue. The instructions should still appear. Reconnect after the check.

Only this rescue page is saved, not the full website. Clearing website data, private browsing, or browser storage cleanup can remove the offline copy. If the check fails, prepare it again online. The page cannot create internet access or fix a network outage.

Want the direct login link as well?

You can also save this address as a separate bookmark or note:

http://getmewifi.help/

This link tries to reach the Wi-Fi login; it does not store offline instructions. Some browsers may open its secure version first. Keep the saved Wi-Fi Rescue page for the fallback steps.

Already stuck? Join the public Wi-Fi, then Open Wi-Fi Login.

Preparing offline access...

If no sign-in page appears

  1. Check that you joined the correct public Wi-Fi.
  2. If you use a VPN and are allowed to change it, turn it off briefly to try the login. Turn your VPN back on after sign-in.
  3. If you changed your DNS and know how to restore it, try automatic DNS temporarily. Restore your preferred DNS after sign-in. Leave managed work settings alone.
  4. Disconnect and reconnect once. If it still fails, ask staff whether the Wi-Fi is working.

Never enter passwords or personal details on a WiFi 4 Breakfast page. Enter details only on the sign-in page you have checked with the hotel, airport, or café. Stop at certificate warnings or unexpected installation requests.
