How it works
Public Wi-Fi often places a login page between your device and the internet. WiFi 4 Breakfast creates a deliberately plain request the network can intercept.

The explicit http:// address avoids encrypted transport for this one non-sensitive request. A captive network can redirect that request to its own login page.
Any room number, email, voucher, payment, or terms belong only on the venue page. WiFi 4 Breakfast never asks for them.
If our plain page appears, the network did not redirect the request. Continue to the secure site or use guided diagnosis for the next step.
A public network can alter plain HTTP. Never enter passwords or personal information there. The rescue endpoint contains no forms, cookies, analytics, or arbitrary redirects.
