How it works

Public Wi-Fi has two steps.

First, your device joins the Wi-Fi. Then the hotel, airport, or café asks you to sign in, accept its terms, or enter a code. Sometimes that second page does not open.

Join the public Wi-Fi

Your device can show the Wi-Fi symbol before you have internet access. Make sure you joined the correct network.

Open Wi-Fi Login

The button gives the Wi-Fi another chance to show its sign-in page.

Complete the Wi-Fi sign-in

Accept terms or enter room details, a voucher, or payment only on the hotel, airport, or café page. WiFi 4 Breakfast never asks for them.

If the sign-in page stays missing

If WiFi 4 Breakfast appears instead, start guided help. If nothing opens, reconnect once, then ask staff whether the public Wi-Fi is working.

Why the rescue page is unencrypted

Most websites are encrypted, which stops public Wi-Fi from replacing them with a sign-in page. WiFi 4 Breakfast opens one empty, unencrypted page for this step. It has no form, cookies, or analytics. Never enter passwords or personal information there.
