Purpose
WiFi 4 Breakfast provides a public Wi-Fi login rescue request, educational material, and locally operated troubleshooting guidance. It does not provide internet access and cannot bypass a venue's authentication, payment, device, or usage rules.
No guaranteed result
Captive portals vary by venue, network, device, browser, and settings. The rescue request may give a venue login page another opportunity to appear, but it cannot guarantee that a portal opens or that the venue's internet service works.
Plain-HTTP boundary
The rescue page is intentionally unencrypted so a captive network can intercept the request. A network can alter plain-HTTP content. Never enter passwords, payment information, room details, voucher codes, or other personal information into a page claiming to be WiFi 4 Breakfast.
Venue pages and third-party services
A Wi-Fi login page belongs to the venue or its network provider. Their terms, privacy practices, availability, and security are outside our control. Confirm unexpected requests with venue staff before entering sensitive information.
Permitted use
Use the service for ordinary connection troubleshooting. Do not use it to disrupt infrastructure, evade access controls, automate abusive traffic, impersonate the service, or test a venue's systems without authorisation.
Availability and changes
The service is an evidence-gated product experiment. Availability, supported browsers, domain topology, and guidance may change when field testing, platform behavior, legal review, or security evidence requires it. Material current limits are published on the known limitations page.
