Common problems
Wi-Fi login page not showing? Open it again
Your device can join the local Wi-Fi before the venue gives it internet access. The missing step is often the venue's sign-in page.
Hotel Wi-Fi login page not showing
The hotel Wi-Fi may be waiting for a room detail, voucher, payment, or terms page that your device did not display.
Connected to public Wi-Fi but no internet
The Wi-Fi icon confirms a local wireless connection. It does not confirm venue authorization or working internet access.
VPN, Private Relay, or DNS blocking Wi-Fi login
A VPN, Private Relay, custom DNS, Private DNS, or proxy can sometimes prevent the local venue page from appearing.
Wi-Fi keeps asking you to sign in
The venue session may be expiring, failing to remember this device, or reaching a time, data, or device limit.
By device
iPhone or iPad Wi-Fi login page not showing
Your iPhone or iPad can remain joined to the network after its captive Wi-Fi screen is dismissed or left incomplete.
Mac Wi-Fi login page not showing
Your Mac may be connected to the access point while the venue is still waiting for a web login.
Android Wi-Fi sign-in page not loading
Android may detect that the network needs a sign-in, but device makers and versions can present that state differently.
Windows 11 public Wi-Fi login page not showing
Windows can show a local Wi-Fi connection while its internet check, the venue login, or the venue's upstream connection is incomplete.
