Try this first

Take the shortest safe route.

  1. Open Settings, then Network & internet or Connections, and select the official venue Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap any Sign in to network notice that appears.
  3. If it stays missing, open the rescue page in your browser.
  4. If you temporarily use automatic Private DNS, restore your previous setting after login.

Android path

Look for the network notice before changing settings.

Open the selected Wi-Fi network and check for a sign-in action. If the notification was dismissed, a fresh rescue request in the browser can provide another opportunity for the venue portal to appear.

Private DNS

Use automatic DNS only as a temporary test.

Record your current setting, switch to Automatic only if the portal remains hidden, retry once, then restore the previous choice after login. Managed devices should follow organizational guidance.

When the venue needs to act

Know when to stop troubleshooting.

Ask the venue to confirm device support and reset the session when the sign-in page loops or rejects valid venue details. Ask IT before changing managed network settings.
