Hotel checklist

Confirm the details the hotel controls.

WiFi 4 Breakfast can open a path to the hotel page. It cannot issue an access code, extend a paid session, or verify that a similarly named access point belongs to the hotel.

  • Official guest network name.
  • Whether the portal expects surname, room number, voucher, or payment.
  • Device limit and session duration.
  • Whether reception knows of a current outage.

Session problems

An old or changed device session can trigger another login.

Some venue systems remember a device for a limited time. A session can expire, reach a device limit, or stop matching after a network identity setting changes. The portal may then ask again even though the Wi-Fi name looks connected.

Keep the current private-address setting stable while troubleshooting. Do not disable privacy settings unless the hotel specifically requires a supported change and you understand how to restore it.
